Margaux CASEY


Margaux Casey* is a member of the California, Paris and New York Bars. She acts as counsel in international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings in a variety of sectors including construction, aerospace and hospitality and in both civil law and common law matters. She has been involved in arbitration proceedings in France, the United States and Switzerland.

Prior to joining Teynier Pic, Margaux Casey trained in common law at Georgetown University in the United States and in international arbitration at Sciences Po Paris.

  • Represented a French construction company, in an ICC arbitration seated in Geneva, in a dispute concerning the performance of a contract for the construction of a power plant and its termination based on a claim of force majeure, invoked in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Represented a French construction company, in ICC arbitration proceedings seated Paris, against American opposing parties, in a dispute arising in relation to the construction of a plant for the production of carbon fibre.
  • Represented a French company, in an ICC arbitration seated in New York, which concerned the design and production of a constellation of telecommunications satellites for an American company.
  • Represented a Lebanese company in an application before the ICC for the revision of an arbitral award on the basis of fraud in a dispute relating to the performance and termination of a contract, under Maryland law, for the operation of a site by an international hotel chain.
